As the animation industry gears up for the fall market season, French prodco Millimages is rejigging its global sales team to support the growth of flagship kids brand Molang and better adapt to current market conditions.
The restructure kicked off last week with the promotion of licensing director Alexandra Algard-Mikanowski (pictured) to commercial director. In addition to continuing to spearhead licensing strategy, she will now also oversee distribution and e-commerce together under one department.
Millimages has already bolstered Algard-Mikanowski’s team, hiring former Awol Animation exec Géraldine Imbert-Cléry and ex-France Télévisions Distribution sales coordinator Romane Cot-Ogryzek to manage international sales. Imbert-Cléry will focus on the UK, France, North America and Latin America, while Cot-Ogryzek covers EMEA and the in-flight entertainment market.
The timing of this announcement comes as Millimages gears up to pitch its new CG-animated comedy series Bin Buddies (52 x seven minutes) at Cartoon Forum next week. The studio’s kids content portfolio also includes 2D-animated preschool series Mouk (104 x 11 minutes) and CG-animated adventure toon Pirata and Capitano (52 x 11 minutes).
