- BBC Studios is working with LA-based specialty retailer BoxLunch on a new line of Bluey apparel and accessories for kids and adults. Launching in stores this week, the collection features more than 30 SKUs, including fuzzy Bluey backpacks, Bingo plush pillows and themed jerseys. BoxLunch has done similar collabs with Disney (Spider-Man) and Warner Bros. Consumer Products (Harry Potter) in the past.
- SEGA Europe has licensed Denmark’s Story House Egmont to publish a new monthly magazine for kids that’s all about Sonic the Hedgehog. A first issue will hit retail across the UK, the Nordics and Central & Eastern Europe next month, featuring a wide range of Sonic-themed character bios, comics, puzzles and board games. Each mag will also come packaged with an exclusive Sonic toy.
- Toikido has tapped Sony Music Entertainment UK subsidiary Magic Star as its global music distribution partner. Magic Star will expand the reach of Toikido’s original music on new platforms and develop music engagement, video production and brand partnership strategies for IPs including Roblox game Piñata Smashlings and mobile sleuthing game Goose Goose Duck.
