  • 2BeNamed has picked up Wind Sun Sky’s Future Chicken (pictured) series for its KidOO kidsnet in Latin America. The pay-TV channel, which targets kids three to nine, is available in multiple countries and is expected to be in three million homes by the end of 2024.

  • Build-A-Bear is going for a licensing touchdown with the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs. The DIY plush retailer will sponsor the team’s mascots and plant its bears in the stands for fans to find during each home game. Fans can also get discounts if they wear NFL jerseys when visiting participating Workshop locations this season. This is a multi-year partnership and builds on an existing relationship that has seen Build-A-Bear create licensed NFL bears for more than 20 years.

  • Toei Animation has tapped Roblox developer Twin Atlas to create a game based on its CG-animated family feature film Hypergalactic. Hypergalactic: Monkey Quest is due out in November, ahead of the movie’s anticipated release in 2025. Spaceport Technologies will manage the process that permits other UGC creators and game developers to license the film for use in other Roblox games, which will all exist under the Monkey Quest banner, driving more revenue and engagement than a single licensing partner could.

  • Footwear company Ground Up International has laced up for its first deal with Sanrio and has just launched Hello Kitty-branded shoes for toddlers and preschoolers at Kids Foot Locker locations in the US.
