Gulli has ordered French studio Watch Next Media’s 2D-animated series Wild Kat, which M6 Group and Super RTL helped to co-develop.
Touching on themes of identity and self-acceptance, this 26 x 22-minute action/comedy for kids ages six to 10 centers around a pair of teen boys whose lives change radically when one of their families adopts Kat—who turns out to be a secret agent with the power to transform into a feline/human hybrid. They all team up to protect their city from shapeshifting villains and a larger evil conspiracy.
Wild Kat is on track for a September 2026 delivery, and has received financial support from trade orgs including Creative Europe Media and the CNC.
