- Kids comic book writer Jamie Smart has inked a deal with David Fickling Books to pen five more novels in his Bunny vs Monkey collection for kids ages eight to 12. Revolving around a monkey who wants to banish all animals from the forest he lives in, including his rabbity nemesis, there are currently 16 books in this 10-year-old series. Its most recent title, Bunny Bonanza, became the top-selling children’s book in the UK after its launch in January 2024, according to Nielsen BookScan.
- Tokyo-based toy manufacturer Good Smile Company has launched a new line of figures (pictured) that double as magnets based on classic anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. They will roll out State-side in Q3 2025, and Good Smile is taking pre-orders now on its US website.
