- Istanbul-based Fauna Entertainment has secured a deal with Turkish publisher Eksik Parça Yayinevi to release Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood books in Turkey. With a focus on teaching preschoolers life lessons, the books will launch in Turkish book stores this summer.
- Miraculous Corp and GameMill Entertainment have partnered to release a console and PC video game called Miraculous: Paris Under Siege in October. This is the second game the companies have collaborated on. It’s an action/adventure game where heroes work to save Paris from evil villains.
- Mattel is bringing UNO to car rides. In a deal with AirConsole and BMW Group, the toyco is bringing its popular card game to more than 500,000 BMW and MINI vehicles starting tomorrow. While the real-life car is parked, up to four players can battle it out in the digital version of the card game that uses both players’ phones (to hide their hands) and the car’s infotainment system.
- Tivola Games has partnered with Europa-Park and MACK Magic to launch a racing video game based on the upcoming animated kids film Grand Prix of Europe (a co-pro from MACK and Warner Bros.) The game, called Ed & Edda: GRAND PRIX – Racing Champion (pictured), follows a mouse who dreams of becoming a race-car driver. It’s based on characters from the Europa-Park theme park. The game will launch on PC and consoles next summer, coinciding with the launch of the animated feature film.
