  • Beams International—a UK-based company that makes food & beverage and lifestyle gifting products—has signed a licensing agreement with BBC Studios to produce Bluey gift packs for domestic distribution. Launching sometime this fall, the range will include baking and drink kits, keyrings and oven pans. Beams is a longtime CP partner of the Beeb, but this is its first Bluey license.
  • UK-based consultancy Bridgehead International has launched a brand licensing division, and MGA Entertainment’s L.O.L. Surprise! is one of its first client brands. Bridgehead plans to move L.O.L. into new categories including gifts, tech and health & beauty in time for this year’s holiday shopping season.

In related news, Hunter Price has signed on to create accessories, bags, games, puzzles and stationery in the UK and Europe for MGA/Crayola’s L.O.L. Surprise! Loves Crayola collaboration (pictured). Set to launch sometime this summer, the UK-based company’s product range will blend MGA’s collectible doll IP with the crayon maker’s brand.
