The Jim Henson Company is looking to sell the studio lot on North La Brea Avenue in Hollywood that has been its headquarters for almost 25 years. The prodco would like to move to a location where all of its teams can work together under one roof—right now, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is based in Burbank.

Henson has been on La Brea since 1999, and its 80,000-square-foot lot includes a soundstage, a screening room and an outdoor courtyard. It was previously owned by A&M Records, and silent-movie icon Charlie Chaplin also held the deed to the property at one point.

The company has developed and produced projects such as Earth to Ned for Disney+ and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio for Netflix on the lot. And Henson’s team also runs a live puppet show on its soundstage.
