- Hasbro has tapped Merchantwise to serve as its new licensing agent in Australia and New Zealand, managing regional licensees in all categories, as well as local promotions and LBE business.
- Gaumont has closed new global sales for two series (both 52 x 11 minutes). The 2D toon Bionic Max is going to WBD Italy, ABC Australia, MBC in MENA, Brazil’s Globosat and US platforms Pluto TV and HappyKids. And CG-animated preschool series Do, Re & Mi (pictured) has been acquired by Knowledge (Canada), YLE (Finland), RTS (Switzerland) and Thai PBS.
- Podcast studio Wondery has granted licenses for Wow in the World to Goliath (interactive toys and games) and tonies (screen-free digital listening experiences), which will both release products this fall.
- Konami Cross Media NY has inked new book deals for Yu-Gi-Oh! with Landoll Publishing (activity books) and Nelson Publishing (German-language versions of The Official Yu-Gi-Oh! Guidebook and Art Of The Cards).
