Superights reorganizes its international sales team  

The French distributor has brought in former StudioCanal exec Séverine Leroux and shuffled up its territory assignments.

Superights, the distribution division of French prodco Superprod, has recruited former StudioCanal UK digital sales exec Séverine Leroux as its newest international sales manager.

Based in Paris, Leroux will oversee sales of kids & family content in Eastern Europe, Africa and the inflight market. In her previous role at StudioCanal UK, she managed key accounts including Netflix and Disney+.

Leroux started yesterday and reports to deputy managing director of sales and acquisitions Nathalie Pinguet. She will be heading to NATPE Budapest next month to sell a slate of content that includes Miffy, Home Sweet Rome! and Tara Duncan

Meanwhile, in the wake of Juliette Béchu’s departure from the company, several countries have been reassigned. Hugo Brochard is now overseeing Asia, India, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Spain and Portugal. And Pinguet has added the US and Middle East to her territory, which already includes the UK, Germany, Western Europe, the Nordics, Russia and Canada.
