- Jakks Pacific’s Disguise division has renewed its license to manufacture and distribute Halloween costumes and accessories based on Moonbug Entertainment’s hit preschool shows CoCoMelon and Blippi in North America. A new range of products will be ready to roll out to retailers this fall.
- Kartoon Studios (the controlling partner of Stan Lee Universe) and GFM Animation in the UK have signed a deal to develop, finance and produce five new animated feature films based on stories and characters created by the legendary comic book creator. A team of LA-based writers are working on treatments, and the first three will be ready to share with distributors at this month’s Cannes Film Festival (May 15 to 24).
