- Indie distributor Janson Media has signed a deal to sell YouTube creator Like Nastya’s content on all VOD platforms worldwide. Featuring a mix of pretend play, educational and music videos, the nine-year-old digital star’s portfolio of localized YouTube channels collectively boast 350 million subscribers, and have generated a whopping 207 billion views.
- In its first-ever licensing deal, Bubble Skincare will roll out a limited-edition line of toners, serums, cleansers and moisturizers for tweens/teens based on Disney/Pixar’s film sequel Inside Out 2 (premiering June 14), which introduces protagonist Riley’s new emotions as a 13-year-old going through puberty. Bubble’s “Face Your Feels” range is available online and in Walmart and Ulta stores throughout May and June.
- Acamar Films has partnered with costume-maker Rubies, which will manufacture and distribute an everyday role-play collection based on Acamar’s animated preschool series Bing. Products are in development now and should be ready for pre-order by end of year.
