Australia’s Moose Toys has promoted Emily Maclennan from SVP of sales and marketing to GM of UK and Europe in order to shore up leadership in advance of Neil Shinner’s (pictured above) retirement in June.

Shinner joined Moose as CEO of UK and Europe when it acquired his toy company Worlds Apart (Scruff-A-Luvs, Kid Active) in 2018. He has since been instrumental in growing Moose’s European business, overseeing Magic Mixies consumer products deals in the UK with licensing agency Bulldog, and orchestrating an agreement in January with Character World Brands to develop and distribute products based on several Moose Toys IPs across EMEA.

Maclennan also came to Moose from Worlds Apart, where she had worked in various marketing roles for more than 15 years.
