Australia’s Moose Toys has partnered with Universal Products & Experiences to make and distribute a range of licensed Despicable Me toys to retailers across North America ahead of the franchise’s fourth film release on July 4.

The Despicable Me 4 line features a wider variety of action figures, including two-inch Mini Mayhem collectibles, four-inch Mega Minions and a co-branded range of Heroes of Goo Jit Zu stretchy toys. But the real highlight is a pair of Fart Blasters (pictured) designed to shoot up to 5,000 scented vapor rings of gross gas (or essence of banana) and hit a target’s nose from six feet away.

This is Moose’s first toy range based on the Despicable Me and Minions franchises, following a multi-year master toy deal it signed with Universal’s consumer products division last year. But the companies first partnered up two years ago, when Moose manufactured a line of collectible figures for DreamWorks Animation’s 2023 family feature Trolls Band Together

Illumination’s Despicable Me 4 sees a new member join Gru’s brood, but his peaceful family life is quickly disrupted when criminal masterminds Maxime Le Mal and Valentina escape from prison to exact their revenge.
