APC Kids sells Isadora Moon to major Nordic pubcasters, Once Upon a Time…The Objects heads to WBD’s Italian channels, and Disguise dresses up with Ghostbusters again.

  • APC Kids has sold Kelebek Media’s 2D-animated series Isadora Moon (pictured, 48 x 11 minutes and two x 22 minutes) to SVT (Sweden), NRK (Norway), YLE (Finland), Knowledge Kids (Canada), RTBF (Belgium) and Noga Communications (Israel). The show targets four- to seven-year-olds and is based on an Oxford University Press book series about a half-fairy half-vampire that has sold more than five million copies worldwide.

 

  • Warner Bros. Discovery Italy has picked up preschool co-pro Once Upon a Time…The Objects (78 x seven minutes) from Procidis and SAMKA. This 2D-animated comedy features historical figures teaching kids about the history of objects like soccer balls and lip balm. It will start airing regionally in the coming months on pay-TV channel Boomerang and free-to-air preschool net Cartoonito. 

 

  • Sony Pictures Consumer Products has tapped Jakks Pacific’s costume division Disguise to manufacture and distribute costumes, accessories and inflatables based on Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire for fall 2024. Disguise has had the Ghostbusters license since 2021. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire launched in theaters on March 22 and sees several of the original busters team up with some young new recruits to save the world from a demonic god.
