New York’s Cookbook Media has picked up North American distribution rights to Toon2Tango’s latest preschool series, Hey Fuzzy Yellow

Co-founder Claudia Scott-Hansen will lead the regional push to sell the 52 x 11-minute toon, which is a co-pro with Curiosity Ink Media (US), Treehouse Republic (Ireland) and Hotel Hungaria Animation (Belgium). Currently in production, the first 24 episodes of Hey Fuzzy Yellow will deliver later this year, with the rest to follow in March 2025.

The series is commissioned by Irish pubcaster RTÉ, with additional financial support coming from Screen Ireland and Creative Europe. It has already been pre-sold to Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America by Toon2Tango, which is managing the international sales rights (excluding Benelux, where Hotel Hungaria has the rights).

Hey Fuzzy Yellow revolves around a group of soft-and-cozy characters who teach kids basic learning concepts like logic, art and social-emotional learning through music, skits and play.
