Paris-based distributor APC Kids has signed several new deals for three seasons of the Danish family series Tinka (pictured, 72 x 26 minutes).

Canal+ (France) and Téléquébec (Canada) both picked up the third season of the live-actioner, and APC Kids has sold the second season to Hungarian channel MTVA and France TV. ERR in Estonia has also acquired season one.

Copenhagen’s Cosmo Film produces Tinka, which premiered on Denmark’s TV2 in 2019. It stars a half-pixie, half-human teenage girl who goes on enchanted quests, such as finding a Christmas star.

APC Kids distributes the series worldwide outside of Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany. Back in September, the company won Distributor of the Year at the 2023 Cartoon Forum tribute awards in recognition of its work selling shows like TeamTO and France TV’s Jade Armor, as well as DinoCity from Riki Group and Animax Production.
