Rome’s Mondo TV Group has teamed up with Italian studios TILE and Digitalcomoedia and India’s Toonzstation Mocca Studio to co-produce its upcoming series Lola on Board (26 x seven minutes, pictured).
Aimed at the three to six set, Lola on Board is currently in production and slated for a summer 2024 delivery. In the series, a young girl with the ability to talk to animals learns all about nature while travelling with her grandmother on a sustainable cruise ship.
Mondo TV Group, Mondo TV Studios and Toonzstation will distribute the series in Italy, Spain and India, respectively.
This is not the first time TILE and Digitalcomoedia have worked together: The studios previously co-produced VR-based educational kids series Giga & Stick, featuring an elephant and a mouse who “live” on the internet and explain how digital data works.
