Deals of the Week: Moonbug, Kidoodle.TV, KidsBeeTV

Two Moonbug IPs are getting podcasts, Great Wolf Entertainment's new series heads to Kidoodle.TV, and KidsBeeTV is launching a bunch of preschool toons.

Animated series Little Baby Bum and Lellobee City Farm will soon be available as podcasts on Audible. The Amazon platform is launching Lellobee City Farm: Grandma Mei’s Fantastic Folktales (26 episodes), delivering lessons about community, diversity and nature to kids ages three and up on June 8. As part of the deal, the first 13 eps of a Little Baby Bum: Time to Dream podcast for kids 18 months and up launched on Thursday, with a second half planned for rollout in the coming months.

August Media Holdings

The Singapore-based company is running a compilation package featuring several episodes of its 2D-animated series Tish-Tash (pictured) in 12 UK locations of cinema chain The Light. Studio Gale (South Korea), Karrot Entertainment (UK) and August Media co-produce the series, along with Korean broadcaster EBS. Aimed at kids ages three to five, Tish Tash stars a young bear who embarks on fun adventures with her family and her imaginary best friend. The series debuted on EBS in 2020, and CAKE is the worldwide distributor.

KidsBeeTV

DeAPlaneta Entertainment’s preschool series Milo (52 x 11 minutes)—featuring a five-year-old cat who explores different vocations with his friends—will launch this month on Portuguese streamer KidsBeeTV. The platform has picked up several other animated series from DeAPlaneta for May releases, including Bubble Bip (52 x seven minutes), Super Dino (52 x 11 minutes) and Baby Heidi (12 x three minutes).

Kidoodle.TV

Great Wolf Entertainment has signed a deal to premiere its animated series Adventures of the Great Wolf Pack on Kidoodle.TV starting today. LA’s Six Point Harness produces the series (four x 22 minutes) about the adventures of a pack of friendly wolves who help other animals solve problems. Chris Bailey (Alvin and the Chipmunks) directs the show, with Julia Pistor (The Rugrats) and Kent Redeker (Spirit Rangers) on board as executive producers. The safe kids streamer also previously picked up Great Wolf’s 44-minute animated feature The Great Wolf Pack: A Call to Adventure. Cookbook Media distributes all of Great Wolf Entertainment’s animated content internationally.
