CAKE
The London-based distributor has picked up a new preschool animated title called Toru Superfox (pictured, 52 x eight minutes) from Polish studios Animoon and Letko. CAKE will now sell the series for four to sevens everywhere except Poland. Toru Superfox features the adventures of a fox who imagines the forest where he plays is inhabited by his favorite comic book characters.

Hasbro’s entertainment studio is bringing 26-episode animated series Transformers: EarthSpark into new markets, signing deals with buyers including Gulli (France), Clan (Spain), Super! (Italy), NRK (Norway), DR (Denmark), TV3 and TV8 (Baltics), TV Azteca (Mexico), TV Cultura (Brazil), Viu TV (Hong Kong), Channel 5 (Singapore), RTV (Indonesia) and TV9 (Malaysia). Produced by Paramount, the show focuses on a new generation of Transformers who must find their place and purpose in the family that adopts them. It premiered last November on Paramount+.

The Italian prodco and Germany’s Toon2Tango have signed several new presales and distribution deals across Europe, MENA, Indonesia and China for their CG-animated sci-fi series Agent 203 (26 x 22 minutes). Set to premiere this year, the toon for kids ages six to 10 is about a teenage girl who becomes an intergalactic secret agent in order to protect Earth from an alien invasion. New buyers include Rai Kids for Rai Gulp, Poland’s TVP ABC, Middle Eastern kids channel MBC 3 and pay-TV channel Minimax in Central Europe. Additionally, Indonesian distributor Spectrum Film has acquired regional sales rights, and London’s The Media Pioneers (TMP) will sell Agent 203 into the Chinese market. The series is co-produced by Mondo TV and Toon2Tango in association with India’s Cosmos Maya Animation.
