The LA-based company has partnered with department store Galéries Lafayette Paris Haussman to launch the first-ever Care Bears pop-up store in France. It opened its doors last week and will be up and running until March 16. Along with branded apparel, the store offers free workshops for kids and families to create personalized accessories. 

Lakeside Animation

Toronto-based studios Lakeside Animation and Treason Media have teamed up to develop a 2D-animated series for kids ages six to 12 called Welcome to the Imagin-Atrix (pictured). (The ThinkTank Emporium in New York is also involved in the project, which used to have the working title The World According to Dave). It’s based on an original TV concept from kids author Sylvia Medina, who penned the Green Kids Club book series, and her son. It stars a young boy who discovers an alien device that turns his daydreams into reality.

The Indonesian broadcaster has acquired CG-animated film Ejen Ali: The Movie from Malaysia’s WAU Animation and Primeworks Studios for its linear channel and VOD platform. Centering around the thrilling spy missions of a 12-year-old agent, the Ejen Ali franchise debuted as a same-name TV series on Malaysian broadcaster TV3 in 2016, and it has become very popular in Southeast Asia.
