Invisible Universe has partnered with podcast studio Audio Up to develop original music for its recently launched preschool brand My Friend Lovie.
Audio Up will create 10 original songs for the IP’s animated series, the first ep of which premiered February 11 on YouTube, building on a collection of short clips that dropped in January on the same platform, TikTok and Instagram.
Next up, Invisible Universe plans to move the IP into publishing, longer-form content, games and consumer products, according to a release.
The series stars a heart-shaped five-year-old who changes color based on her feelings, and learns about the importance of sharing in each episode.
“Our distribution on social media allows us to seize a major opportunity to build affinity for our digitally native IP, while also monetizing through music,” said Invisible Universe co-founder and CEO Tricia Biggio in a release.
Since its launch, My Friend Lovie has accumulated a strong fan base on social networks—it has more than 2,000 subscribers on YouTube, 162,000 on TikTok, and 259,000 on Instagram.
