Italian kids content producer/distributor Mondo TV Group has partnered with Paramount-owned AVOD Pluto TV to bring a number of its titles to Pluto in Latin America and Europe.
In LatAm, Pluto TV picked up live-action comedy-drama Heidi Bienvenida (60 x 45 minutes), which targets kids ages eight to 12, along with 2D-animated Sissi the Young Empress (78 x 11 minutes), aimed at kids ages four to seven. For kids six to 10, it acquired 2D-animated story Dinofroz (52 x 26 minutes) and 2D-animated car-racing toon The Drakers (26 x 26 minutes).
Pluto has also added numerous series for Italian audiences to its line-up. The list includes the CG-animated Invention Story (52 x 11 minutes, pictured), which targets kids five to eight; and the anime series Legend Of Snow White (52 x 26 minutes), for ages six to 10. It also picked up more than 20 kids movies, including Felix All Around The World (80 minutes) and Welcome Back Pinocchio (90 minutes).
Since its launch in 2013, Pluto TV has added movies and series from nearly 400 producers. This year, Hasbro subsidiary eOne created the Transformers TV streaming channel on the AVOD, offering more than 200 hours of content featuring the famous robots. And in January, BBC Studios launched two new ad-supported free kids channels on Pluto in the US.
