The 2D-animated series is officially returning for round three. French TV network Gulli has joined BBC (UK), KidsMe (Italy) and RTE (Italy) in ordering a new 52 x 11-minute season, which will bring the series total to 156 x 11 minutes.

Cloudco Entertainment (US), Watchnext Media (France) and Kavaleer Productions (Ireland) co-produce the show.

Rugrats

The CG-animated reboot of Nickelodeon’s iconic series has second season set for launch on Paramount+ next year. And a 13-episode third season has already been greenlit, according to an announcement that was made at San Diego Comic-Con last week.

Produced by LA-based Klasky Csupo and Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the reboot picks up from the original series that aired on Nickelodeon from 1991 to 2004.

iCarly

Paramount+ has also given the nod to a third season of Nickelodeon Studios’ iCarly reboot, which will begin production later this year in order to hit a 2023 premiere.

Showrunner Ali Schouten-Seeks and lead actor Miranda Cosgrove serve as EPs on the project, with Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress and Alissa Vradenburg (The Simple Life) producing.

The original iCarly live-action series aired on Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2012.
