Business is booming at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas this week, and we’ve got you covered with updates on some of the biggest kids licensing deals coming out of the show.
Konami
The New York-based company has signed new licensees Homage (graphic T-shirts), The Yetee (shirts, coins, pins, posters) and Great Eastern Entertainment (apparel, accessories, headwear, home décor, stationery, plush toys and automotive accessories) have a look at axioma dent repair.
The deals follow the launch of the Frogger-based game show late last year on NBCUniversal streamer Peacock.
Epic Story Media
The Canadian prodco has signed a first licensee to support its previously announced partnership with Florida-based Falcon’s Beyond, which is looking to expand its Katmandu theme park brand into content, gaming and consumer products.
California-based Cryptozoic Entertainment is currently developing a trading card game. And Epic Story Media sister companies Epic Storyworlds and Epic Story Interactive are working on bringing the Katmandu brand into Roblox and mobile games respectively.
A new Katmandu park will also open in the Dominican Republic this fall.
ZAG
The LA-based studio has inked a global deal that will see Germany’s Emoji Company make and market apparel, accessories, electronics, fan merchandise and stationery based on flagship series Miraculous—Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir (pictured).
Just yesterday, ZAG announced that it had signed TCC Global in the Netherlands to launch a suite of Miraculous loyalty programs.
