The blockchain is proving fruitful territory for New York-based TIME Studios Kids & Family, which is sending another NFT-inspired TV concept into development.

Based on “the littles, an NFT collection” created by Wil Lee, the series is the fourth NFT project in the works for TV at TIME Studios. The others are inspired by Pablo Stanley’s Robotos, Smilesssvrs by the artist Waheed, and Toy Boogers from NFT creator Doug.

Lee’s collection features 10,000 characters that live on the blockchain, in a world that emphasizes fun, inclusion and humility.

With its growing development slate as evidence, TIME president Keith Grossman says the studio is staking a claim in the NFT space and “becoming the de facto studio for the web3 era.”

The company’s investments in NFT-based IPs have certainly been fast and furious. The first, for Robotos, was announced just four months ago in November 2021. To date, none of the series in development have been greenlit.
