Podcast maker Tinkercast is working to accelerate its growth with two new hires, bringing on Sesame Workshop alum Jodi Nussbaum (pictured left) as chief operating officer and Ali Paksima (pictured right) as CFO.

Reporting to co-founder and CEO Meredith Halpern-Ranzer, the pair joined the company earlier this month in these newly created roles.

They’ll help lead the podcast producer through a significant expansion phase over the next few years. Tinkercast is looking to broaden its reach geographically into new international markets, as well as explore new platforms—such as smart speakers—and new formats like video content.

Nussbaum, a former VP of special project production at Sesame Workshop, has years of experience in creating digital content, live events, social impact initiatives and international branded content. In her new role, she’ll help Tinkercast build new partnerships with creative and production leaders across media, technology and education, according to a release.

Paksima splits his time working on business development at edtech startup Magrid Learning Solutions, where he gained the accounting and finance expertise that he’s bringing to Tinkercast.

Last year, Tinkercast teamed up with Wondery to co-produce new episodes of its flagship series Wow in the World, as well as launching a new daily podcast called Camp WeWow
