French distributor PGS has inked several international deals for Bagdasarian Productions’ CG-animated series ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks—one of which will introduce the show to the Japanese market.
Disney Japan has picked up the first two seasons of the 52 x 22-minute series, along with HBO Max for Latin America and Eastern Europe, and Israel’s Noga has bought the first four seasons. Meanwhile, existing deals with Netflix, Radio Canada, TVA (Canada), BSKYB (Italy), Azoomee (global), MTVA (Israel), MNCTV (Indonesia), Hot Telecommunication (Israel) and TVNZ (New Zealand) have all been extended.
Co-produced with French Technicolor Animation Productions, Alvinnn!!! And the Chipmunks has four seasons currently airing on more than 70 Nickelodeon channels internationally, as well as on more than 100 free-to-air platforms. A fifth season is in production now, with plans for two more that will bring the series to a total of 364 x 11-minute episodes (typically packaged into 24 x 22-minute seasons).
