Jetpack Distribution has inked 14 new deals with linear and VOD platforms for 18 shows in its catalogue, covering more than 960 hours of content.
Toon Goggles picked up a number of new series for Canada, the UK and the US, including Boj from Pesky; CHF Entertainment’s Daisy & Ollie (seasons one and two); Tomavision/Leftpocket co-pro Emmy & GooRoo; BES Animation’s Kitty is Not a Cat; the first two seasons of Bumpy Box’s My Petsaurus; Outfit 7’s Talking Tom & Friends (seasons four and five); and the first season of preschool series Yoko from Wizart, Somuga and Dibultoon.
For Latin America, HBO Max acquired season six of Herschend Entertainment’s Chuggington and a number of new Talking Tom titles, including seasons four and five of Talking Tom & Friends, Talking Tom Heroes and the first two seasons of Talking Tom Minis.
For the Baltic, Middle East and North Africa regions, KidzoneTV secured the rights to air the first season of Beano Studio’s Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed!; Cheeky Little’s Kazoops; season two of Samka Productions’ The Sisters; Talking Tom & Friends (seasons one to three); Talking Tom Heroes and the first four seasons of Talking Tom Minis.
Genius Brands International’s Kartoon Channel added three new titles to its lineup for Canada and the US—Boj, Kitty is Not a Cat and the first season of Yoko.
France’s C+ picked up SVOD rights to the first season of Kitty is Not a Cat, as well as renewing its pay-TV deal for the series. It also added Talking Tom & Friends (season one to three).
Italy’s Lingopie went for the German and Italian rights to The Sisters (season one), Talking Tom & Friends (seasons three to five), Yoko (season one) and Samka’s Wolf (season one).
Licensing a pair of shows each, Latvia’s Tet Sia acquired seasons one and two of Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed and seasons three and five of Talking Tom & Friends; and pay-TV provider Mimimax grabbed the Central European rights to Mediatoon’s Marsupilami and Birdo Studios’ Oswaldo
In one-off deals, AVOD JimJam added seasons three and four of Daisy & Ollie to its European platform; pay-TV channel Semillitas acquired seasons one and two of Chuggington for the US, Central America and the Caribbean; Indonesia’s Mola TV picked up the first two seasons of Emmy & GooRoo; Pop in the UK nabbed free-to-air and PVD rights to Funrise’s Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty; Discovery added the first season of Yoko; and Vinewood Animation’s Welcome to Cardboard City went to NRK in Norway.
