The Youth Media Alliance has put out a call for entries for its Andra Sheffer Scholarship. One university or college student who is planning to pursue a career in children’s TV or digital media production will be selected. The YMA is looking for someone who shows talent and passion for creating innovative kids content.
The award includes a pass to Kidscreen Summit in Miami and the Banff World Media Festival in Alberta, as well as US$3,120 (CAD$4000) to cover travel costs. It also includes a year’s worth of mentorship resources from YMA staff, board of directors and kids industry stakeholders.
