WarnerMedia has brought in Christopher Ho to oversee Cartoon Network and Boomerang in Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Korea as senior director of kids networks.
Ho started in his new role earlier this month, coming off a stint as director of multiplatform programming services for The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia.
Based in WarnerMedia’s Singapore office, Ho will head up programming and multi-platform operations in his territories, as well as content direction for channel brands. He is also responsible for digital and interactive initiatives including apps, websites and games.
Ho reports to APAC head of kids Leslie Lee, and he’ll work closely with Abhishek Dutta, senior director of Pogo and Cartoon Network in South Asia. Ho will also collaborate with the HBO GO team to oversee the streaming service’s kids and family offering in Southeast Asia.
