London-based prodco Sutikki (Moon & Me) has hired three new people for senior management roles with an eye to growing its portfolio.
Danielle Davies (pictured) joins the company as global content strategy and partnerships director. She will handle co-production and international deals. Davies began at Sutikki last week, and previously worked as Discovery Kids’ VP content partnerships and revenue. Before that she held exec roles at Zodiak Kids, Fremantle’s kid and family division, Viacom and Hoho Entertainment.
Former brand lead for BBC Children’s and Education unit Jo Redfern, meanwhile, took on the mantle of global brand director at Sutikki. She started in March, and her remit includes creating new franchises and driving international brand development. Prior to joining Sutikki, she worked as a freelance consultant managing international promotions for companies, including Universal Pictures International. She also held marketing manager roles at WWE and Disney.
On the consumer products side, Sutikki has named Anthea Morrissey as its first global creative and product development director. She previously held CP roles at Warner Bros., NBCUniversal and eOne.
Originally co-founded by Andrew Kerr and Irene Weibel in 2016, Sutikki has gone through some major changes in the last year, sparked by both Kerr and Weibel leaving the company in January 2020. Following their departure, former Entertainment One exec Hannah Mungo joined as the new CEO, kicking off her tenure with new deals with Kids Industries, Point.1888 and Rock Hill Media Ventures to jumpstart its IP and consumer products growth.
