Four months into her new role as head of kids for WarnerMedia EMEA, Vanessa Brookman (pictured) has unveiled her new leadership team for Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Boing and Cartoonito, as well as HBO Max and associated digital properties for third-party platforms.
Reporting into Brookman is Sarah Fell, who leads original production; Marc Goodchild, head of digital content; Sean Henry, who has taken over content strategy and acquisitions; and Angharad Llewelyn, who heads up compliance.
Henry will step into the newly created role as head of content strategy and acquisitions for EMEA, with Zia Bales and Sabina McNally reporting into him.
Fell will continue in her role as director of original series EMEA, overseeing the recently rebranded Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe. She will oversee local productions such as The Amazing World of Gumball, The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe and Elliot from Earth, while also creating new productions. She reports to both Brookman and Sam Register, who leads Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios.
Goodchild, meanwhile remains as the head of content strategy and product for EMEA, overseeing those aspects of WarnerMedia EMEA’s multi-platform offering. Llewelyn will continue in her role as director of editorial standards and practices for EMEA.
Finally, Ana González and Sean Gorman are taking on new titles and new territories. González has been promoted to the newly created role head of kids channels for Iberia and Italy, from her role as director of kids content. Gorman, meanwhile, is moving from programming director of kids, UK and Ireland and Nordic to become head of kids channels for UK and Ireland, Nordic and MENAT (Middle East, North Africa and Turkey).
