Love Diana inks new MENA deal for Love, Diana

Spacetoon will air two shows inspired by the YouTube brand and launch toys across the region.
March 29, 2021 has finalized a content and CP deal with Dubai’s Spacetoon for its Love, Diana YouTube property.

The agreement will see Spacetoon serve as the brand’s master licensing agent in MENA, launching toys, confectionery, stationery, promotional items and themed event products in the region. Spacetoon also has the rights to localize, dub and broadcast two series—Love, Diana Adventures and Kids Diana Show Ultimate Mishmash—on its Spacetoon free-to-air TV channel and Spacetoon GO streaming service.

Launching with Spacetoon in Q2, Love, Diana Adventures sees Diana travel to the Land of Play, where she is transformed into an animated princess. And Kids Diana Show Ultimate Mishmash, which is available on Spacetoon’s platforms starting today, is a collection of highlights from the Kids Diana Show YouTube channel.

The Love, Diana brand spans 14 YouTube channels offering content in nine languages. Altogether, the property boasts more than five billion monthly views. partnered with Love, Diana last year. The brand targets two- to seven-year-olds and focuses on themes of friendship, family, leadership, imagination and the power of play. Licensees already on board the IP’s consumer products program include Headstart (dolls), Just Play (role-play), Jerry Leigh (dress-up), Far Out Toys (collectibles) and HiJinx (plush).

Other titles like Ryan’s Mystery Playdate and Ryan’s World Specials will also be available on Spacetoon’s TV channel and streamer.

Spacetoon is no stranger to YouTube influencers—the company signed a strategic partnership with family-friendly content creators The Moshaya Family in 2020. The agreement is designed to generate an original animated series, consumer products and video games.
