Disney Junior gets inspired with Eureka!

Produced by Brown Bag Films, this music-driven series will join several other prehistoric shows in Disney's preschool lineup later this year.

The House of Mouse is ready to sing a new tune with Eureka! Currently in production and set to premiere on Disney Junior later this year, this new music-driven animated series for preschoolers is about a young inventor living in prehistoric times.

Eureka! is produced by Brown Bag Films, in association with Disney Junior. Norton Virgien and Niamh Sharkey created the series and will executive produce. Erica Rothschild helped with development and is also serving as co-executive producer and story editor. And the team is rounded out by consulting producers Rusty Cundieff and Donna Brown Guillaume, along with songwriter Kari Kimmel and composer Frederik Wiedmann.

Christiana McGuigan is the show’s science education consultant, Dr. Knatokie Ford advised on the original series development, and engineering experts from Disney’s Imagineerng team weighed in on the inventions featured in each episode.

The voice cast includes Ruth Righi (Sydney to the Max) as Eureka, along with Lil Rey Howery (Free Guy) and Hamilton talent Renée Elise Goldsberry and Javier Muñoz.

Disney Junior’s lineup already includes a fair number of prehistoric series, including Cyber Group Studios’ Gigantosaurus and Boat Rocker Media’s Dino Ranch.
