Toei Animation Europe has restructured into two new divisions in a bid to strengthen the company’s expansion across EMEA and enhance its relationships with local partners.

Isabelle Favre was named director of the new global marketing and content division. She most recently served as head of marketing and new business for EMEA, and joined Toei in 2009. Previously, Favre worked for Kazachok Licensing Expertise and France TV Distribution.

Laurent Bianchi, meanwhile, was upped to director of Toei’s new sales and business affairs division. He joined the company in 2007 and established Toei Animation Europe’s business and legal affairs department.

Moving forward, Toei will be focused on the ongoing rollout of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. The series recently debuted on Anime Digital Network and JOne (France), as well as on the WarnerMedia-owned streaming service Crunchyroll (EMEA).

Toei set up the European office in 2004 to expand an animation portfolio that includes the Dragon Ball, Digimon and Sailor Moon (pictured) brands, and distribute its content throughout the region.
