Due to the ongoing uncertainty associated with COVID-19, Kidscreen Summit 2021 is shifting gears and going virtual from February 8 to March 5, 2021.

The event kicks off with a market week focused on bringing the industry together to do business. There will be scheduled pitching opportunities, several networking formats, discussions, mentoring, screenings, expert advice, cocktail parties and other group activities.

A big component of Kidscreen Summit Virtual will be an online delegate lounge with various options for exhibitors, and communal space where individual attendees can meet up. Each delegate will get a customized private video conferencing room with integrated messaging and scheduling tools to make the virtual pitching experience smoother and more personal.

The event’s conference program will feature a robust lineup of keynotes, research presentations, fireside chats and panel discussions. The bulk of these sessions will run from February 16 to March 5, and all content will be available on-demand until the end of March.

Registration for Kidscreen Summit Virtual is now open, with two types of passes available. The Content Pass (US$495) provides access to conference programming. Business Pass (US$995) holders can additionally access the delegate lounge and all of the event’s networking opportunities, plus attend the Summit’s series of “In Conversation with…” buyer intel sessions. More information is available online. All attendees will be invited to take part in a virtual Kidscreen Awards ceremony.

Kidscreen Summit 2020 saw more than 2,200 attendees gather in Miami in February, representing a 5% increase in registrations over 2019. There was a 9% bump in delegates from Europe and North America, with the largest increases coming from Russia (up 58%) and South Africa (up 45%).
