With a new name lined up and a wider international reach planned, the ViacomCBS streamer is gearing up for its 2021 relaunch.

CBS All Access is readying for a new name and expanding its global reach for a rebrand in 2021. Paramount+ will also roll out internationally in Australia, Latin America and the Nordics around the same time.

ViacomCBS is planning several new original series for its streamer. While most new originals are aimed at adults—such as a limited series about the making of The Godfather—Paramount+ will house the previously announced SpongeBob spinoff Kamp Koral, and serve as the exclusive SVOD home for recent release The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.

Additional new original content will be announced ahead of the launch next year, according to the company. In all, the streamer will offer 20,000 to 30,000 episodes and movies from across the ViacomCBS portfolio of brands.

Currently, CBS All Access has a large slate of Nickelodeon content, as well as some exclusive kids content from Boat Rocker and WildBrain.

In May, ViacomCBS said it would be revamping the platform into an SVOD that was inclusive of more of its brands, with plans for increased catalogue content and new original series from Nick.
