Moose Toys gets Looney with Warner Bros. deal

The toymaker will launch a range of items inspired by the upcoming films Space Jam: A New Legacy and Tom and Jerry.

Welcome to the Space Jam. Moose Toys has inked an agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to create a range of items inspired by its Looney Tunes franchise and two upcoming films. The consumer products programs will include figures, collectibles and plush characters.

Moose will launch products to support Space Jam: A New Legacy, a reimagining of the classic 1996 movie that will feature NBA star LeBron James alongside Looney Tunes fan favorite characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. The film is slated for release in July 2021.

The toyco will also bow a CP program for upcoming hybrid live-action and animated comedy Tom and Jerry, which is scheduled to hit theaters in March 2021.

Moose’s agreement with Warner Bros. comes as the toymaker continues to expand into licensing. Earlier this year, Moose was named global master toy partner for YouTube creators Collins Key. The activity line focuses on allowing kids to recreate the YouTubers’ DIY efforts and challenges.

In 2019, meanwhile, the toyco signed on as global master toy partner for animated preschool series Bluey (excluding Asia).
