CBS All Access is tapping into the Viacom slate, picking up SpongeBob spinoff Kamp Koral, which was originally earmarked for Nick’s linear channel.
The first spinoff from the SpongeBob franchise is set to premiere in 2021 and will join The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, available exclusively on the SVOD.
The content additions are part of a revamp effort that’d currently underway at the streamer. All Access has begun rolling out its new user interface (pictured) across all major device platforms. It now includes enhanced personalization and new discovery features such as recommendations, curated homepages, new content categories and central hubs for ViacomCBS brands.
In the next few months, All Access will continue to grow its catalogue, with plans to add more than 30,000 episodes of TV and movies from the larger ViacomCBS library. Other Nickelodeon content coming to the platform includes Avatar: Last Airbender (currently licensed to Netflix), Rugrats and all existing seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants. They will join current offerings Danny Phantom, The Legend of Korra and Sam & Cat. CBS All Access debuted its first kids content last summer with episodes of library content from Boat Rocker and WildBrain.
