Blackout Tuesday

In support of protesting police brutality against black men and boys in particular, Kidscreen is not publishing its traditional newsletter today.
June 2, 2020

Kidscreen is going dark as part of the Blackout Tuesday protest. We’ve included two important reading resources, and a list of organizations that you can support financially.

Today, the Kidscreen editorial team will meet to discuss new guidelines for sourcing interviews and event speakers to ensure we’re elevating black and other minority voices in all of our content. Our goal is to be fully representative of the diverse make-up of our readership and the general population. To hold ourselves accountable, we will publish these guidelines and regularly track our progress.

Please consider doing the same.
