Chief commercial officer at Dublin-based JAM Media, John Reynolds, is leaving the company after six years in his position.
During his tenure, JAM created the mixed-media series Becca’s Bunch, which was picked up by Nickelodeon and began airing in the US in 2017 before rolling out globally. The prodco also launched newer mixed-media series Jessy & Nessy on Amazon Prime Video, before taking the linear rights out to broadcasters when Amazon stepped away from kids content last year.
Recently, the Irish company partnered with BBC for its new live-action musical series Tiara Jones, expected for delivery in summer 2021.
Reynolds joined in 2014 to help the company grow in international markets and was primarily focused on overseeing financing for its slate. He reported to JAM CEO John Rice. Before joining JAM, Reynolds was the group commercial director for Millimages, and prior to that he held senior positions at Cinar Entertainment and Sunbow Entertainment.
He is exploring a number of options for his next move, says Reynolds but has nothing to share just yet.
