Part of a major reshuffle at the pubcaster, Milano will now oversee content for its two kidsnets, free VOD service, and eventually kids content on all Rai channels.

Italian pubcaster Rai has promoted Luca Milano to head of the kids division for Rai Ragazzi, following a board meeting where there were several major reshuffles across its main TV channels.

Under the new plan, the whole company will shift to be organized by genres (including kids) rather than by TV channels. As such, Milano moved from his position executive director of Rai Ragazzi, a role he’s held since 2017.

Previously, he created kids content for the preschool net Rai Yoyo and older kids channel Rai Gup, but now he will also oversee kids content for free VOD Rai Play and eventually kids programs for all of Rai’s TV general channels.

He will continue to serve as the chairperson of the Kids Media group of the association of European public broadcasters.
