Califonia-based toyco MGA Entertainment has added Sandrine de Raspide to its executive team to focus on growing the company’s licensing and sales in content distribution, live experiences and consumer engagement.
Effective immediately, she’ll transition into her role as the general manager of international sales and licensing team. She will be responsible for strategizing the growth and expansion in Europe, Australia, Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
De Raspide reports to Isaac Larian, CEO and founder of MGA, and will be based in the company North American global headquarters in Chatsworth, California.
This is a return for de Raspide to MGA, where she served as VP of international sales and marketing from 2002 to 2007. In that time, she played a crucial role in the roll out of Bratz.
Most recently, she held the role of SVP at Level-5 abby Hong Kong, a joint venture of two major Japanese companies, Dentsu and Level-5, and before that was the COO of Sanrio, SVP of Sanrio Global Asia.
In another past role, she’d previously served as EVP at Marvel Entertainment, where she helped to guide the franchise transition of Marvel into the Walt Disney Company, and oversaw the growth of Marvel’s consumer products and retail businesses.
