Toronto-based toy and entertainment company Spin Master and Beverly Hills multiplatform entertainment company Skybound Entertainment are growing the reach of animated series Super Dinosaur with new broadcast deals and consumer products.

Spin Master and Skybound are releasing 13 x 30-minute episodes from season one of children’s adventure series Super Dinosaur to Amazon Prime Video via Amazon Prime Video Direct on October 6. The entertainment company also locked in international broadcast deals for the show with ABC (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), Discovery (LatAm), iQIYI (China) and NOGA-Communications (Israel). The series first premiered on Canadian kidsnet Teletoon in 2018.

The companies have also partnered to launch a toy line featuring characters from the IP on Amazon in the US and exclusively at Toys “R” Us in Canada in the fall.

Based on Skybound/Image comic book of the same name, from Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) and illustrator Jason Howard’s (The Astounding Wolf-Man), Super Dinosaur is about a 10-year-old-genius and his T-Rex best friend who protect the planet against evil. First announced in 2017, the action adventure series is produced by Spin Master, Skybound and its affiliate studio Wind Sun Sky Entertainment.
