Milan-based distributor Atlantyca has acquired the European distribution rights to Korean animation company OCON Studios’ animated preschool series Toy Cop. The 52 x five-minute show will be introduced to broadcasters for the first time at MIPTV in Cannes this week.

Featuring the four brave toys who dedicate their time to maintaining peace in their five-year-old owners’ room, the 3D/CGI-animated series originated from a successful toy property of the same name. KBS (Korea) and RTV (Indonesia) have already signed on as broadcast partners in Asia.

Atlantyca is mainly known for its Geronimo Stilton animated series, which aired 78 episodes from 2009 to 2017 on several European broadcasters, including Italian kidsnet Rai. More recently, the company upped its licensing efforts after being appointed licensing agent for London-based Coolabi Group’s Scream Street in all Italian-speaking territories.
