Toronto-based multichannel network Aux Mode will serve as worldwide YouTube manager for Canadian producer/distributor Bejuba! Entertainment’s catalogue, which includes kids series Big Block SingSong (pictured), Buzz Bumble, Wishfart, Origanimals and Ruff-Ruff, Tweet & Dave.
In addition to managing Bejuba’s corporate YouTube channel, the agreement will see Aux Mode try to grow the company’s audience through content optimization and monetization, secure unclaimed revenue from user-generated content and protect the brands from copyright violations.
Aux’s focus on a single corporate channel for Bejuba’s catalogue—as opposed to individual brand channels—will allow it to cross-promote videos to boost views, engagement and discoverability, said Aux Mode founder and CEO Adam Rumanek in a statement.
Bejuba! Entertainment first appointed Aux Mode to manage its Big Block SingSong YouTube channel in 2018, and reported its subscribers grew by 300% while its revenue on the platform grew by 2,344% over approximately six months.
Aux Mode’s agreement with Bejuba! follows a number of similar deals inked by DHX Media’s WildBrain. The digital kidsnet recently signed on to handle YouTube distribution for the Smurfs, manage YouTube content for Playmobil, manage The Irish Fairy Door Company‘s social media strategies for YouTube and Facebook, and manage the YouTube channel for Sutikki’s Kuroba! brand globally (excluding China).
