Munich-based Studio 100/m4e has appointed former m4e senior sales exec Dorian Bühr as head of global distribution.
Before joining the two prodcos in 2013, Bühr led content partnerships and business development at Deutsche Telekom, leading acquisitions and development at Samuel Goldwyn Films before that.
Studio 100 acquired a majority stake in m4e in 2017 and recently experienced a shake-up when the CEO of the merged entity announced he would be stepping down later this year. Studio 100’s various divisions have recently closed multiple deals to co-produce new animated series Galactic Agency, as well as selling series Arthur and the Minimoys and feature film 100 % Wolf to broadcasters in various territories. It also inked a deal to develop live shows and a TV and web series for Belgium’s alien acrobatic dance act Baba Yaga.
