Digital media company pocket.watch is launching P.W Games, a new division that will produce mobile and console games featuring hot YouTube brands. First to market is free endless runner mobile game Tag With Ryan, based on Ryan ToysReview. It launched in late December on the Apple App Store and Google Play and has already been downloaded more than a million times.

P.W Games partnered with WildWorks (Animal Jam) to develop and release the game, which features characters from Ryan’s World including Combo Panda, who hacks a new video game and modifies it to challenge Ryan to an endless round of tag. Players have to find Ryan’s costumes, which have been hidden in the game’s environment, while simultaneously outrunning Combo Panda.

The Ryan’s World game portfolio is poised to get even more robust in the fall, with the launch of a kart racing game called Race with Ryan that is beging produced in partnership with Outright Games (PAW Patrol: On a Roll, Adventure Times: Pirates of the Enchiridion) to create a kart racing console game Race with Ryan.

And P.W Games is working with San Francisco-based Superstar Games to launch P.W Putting Planet later this quarter. This free augmented reality mobile game title will feature mini-golf courses inspired by HobbyKidsTV.

Pocket.watch has also been focusing on growing its licensing programs for YouTubers including Ryan ToysReview, EvanTubeHD, JillianTubeHD, HobbyKidsTV and Captain Sparklez. Just last week, the company signed more than 40 new licensees for Ryan’s World across toys, apparel and vehicles.
