CPLG has inked a number of new UK consumer products agreements for Snoopy and the Peanuts gang in anticipation of the brand’s 70th anniversary in 2020. Fashion UK (daywear) will launch new apparel this summer, and health & beauty products from Kokomo are set to hit shelves in fall/winter.
Meanwhile, Blueprint has expanded its stationery range to include gifts, and brand-new partners joining the program include Hype (greeting cards), Ecell Global (phone cases), Portico (calendars) and Asvina (food).
Last year, Canada’s DHX Media sold a minority stake in the Peanuts brand to Sony Music Entertainment Japan for US$179 million. And DHX is set to produce exclusive new Peanuts content for Apple’s soon-to-launch streaming service.
